Challenge

In the healthcare industry, patient vital data has traditionally been tracked manually, leading to inefficiencies and inaccuracies that can negatively impact patient outcomes. Our client recognized that this often analogue process can be especially challenging when working with patients who require close monitoring of their vital signs. Additionally, with a focus on providing high-quality care, the client understood the importance of having access to accurate and up-to-date patient data at all times.
To address these challenges, our client sought to develop an IoT healthcare application that could automate the process of tracking and recording patient vital data. By providing patients with a user-friendly tool to monitor their health metrics in real-time, and allowing healthcare professionals to access this data remotely, making it more accurate, efficient, and convenient for patients and caregivers alike.

Solution

To address this challenge, our team of healthcare software developers designed and developed a custom IoT healthcare application that allows patients to easily monitor and record their vital data in real-time, using a custom-designed medical device with sensors. The device produces raw and processed data, which is transmitted to the mobile and web application via Bluetooth and an internet connection, respectively. The application also allows patients to set vital thresholds, monitor their medication intake, directly connect with their caregivers, and receive notifications if their vital data falls outside of the normal range. Additionally, the application enables healthcare professionals to remotely monitor and analyze patient data in real-time, making it easier for them to diagnose and treat patients.
